Commit to Increasing Your Wellness IQ

As a vitality coach, I wear many hats - personal trainer, educator, motivator and friend. When I train a client, we work together to achieve her fitness goals through safe, effective programs that include cardiorespitory, strength training and flexibility. But as we train, I'm equally committed to wellness education.  In addition to hard work (and most likely a little sweat!), wellness education is a tightly integrated component of achieving your fitness goals.

Physical training with education fuels the body and sparks the mind!

Wellness education will help you build momentum, strengthen your commitment and enhance your long-term success. So what can you do to increase your wellness IQ? Well, you can start by taking advantage of the online resources provided by Optimom Fitness™. Here's what we've got:

Optimal Health & Fitness for Moms - Be sure to subscribe to our free newsletter "Optimal Health & Fitness for Moms." In each issue, we strive to educate you on topics such as physical fitness, wellness, nutrition, energy and endurance.

Library - We are continually expanding our Optimom Library of current news articles and reputable information resources on topics such as women's health, disease prevention, healthy eating and weight management. Get comfortable in front of your computer and give yourself the time to become better educated on how to maximize your wellness state.

Weekly Challenge - In this weekly column, we offer a simple challenge to improve your wellness. You'll find challenges on a wide variety of topics, and we strive to make the challenges informative and fun. With the weekly challenges, it's our hope to help you take action and build momentum. Check back each week to take the next small step to improving your total wellness.

Books - Make the commitment to yourself to read wellness-oriented books that can help you take your wellness to the next level. Sure it might be more fun to read the celebrity buzz in People magazine, but instead treat yourself to gaining motivation and practical strategies to optimizing health, boosting energy levels and looking great. We've compiled a great list of choices in our Books section - you can't go wrong with any of them so pick one up and start reading! -

And remember, don't let all this information just make you more knowledgable. If you desire to be an Optimom you need to educate yourself but then take action!
